-mounting distance changed to 3 tiles

Beta!

As discussed before, Flinthills is officially in Beta! Come on in and have some fun!

What we do ask of players is to bug test, if you find something report it. If you are caught abusing a bug, you will be punished.

As another note, the server might be up/down. This is due to changes that need to be implemented immediatly. If a change isnt crucial to gameplay or server stability, it will be added during the next server restart. Also if there are suggestions you would like to see, tell us, this is beta, we are not going to turn you down. We will consider every suggestions!

Alright, I'll try to keep this as easy to follow as possible.

First up - Seeing as UOGateway no longer exists.. (try to find a place on the web where you can download it - i dare you)... Unless you already have it installed, and even then - it doesn't work with the new 9th anniversary client... My advice is to go download razor... http://www.runuo.com/razor/

Then grab one of these 2 clients.

- If you go for the Mondain's Legacy on download.com - install it then patch it up.. BUT DO NOT LET IT PATCH PAST ABOUT 5.0.6d - I know for sure you won't have an issue at 5.0.7. Just let it patch up, and after its done applying 5.0.6 or whatever close to that, it'll start to download the next one - IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CANCEL IT BEFORE IT STARTS APPLYING ANOTHER PATCH. If you fail to do that - you'll have to reinstall. It'll corrupt files.

- I reccomend this one, really - I do. Mainly because you just download it and install it. Thats it. It'll start you off at 6.0.1.10. It SAYS its Mondain's Legacy but its actually the 9th anniversary edition. But really, you should just download both because guaranteed ONE of them will work, its highly unlikely they both will however.

NOW - having installed razor and your client its time to enter the settings into razor...

Make sure the box labeled "Patch client encryption" has a checkmark in it.
The IP is flinthills.ath.cx.
The port is the standard 2593.

Hit OK and if all goes well, you SHOULD be online!

Welcome Back!

We have another chapter of Flinthills UO ready to be written!

We have a new kick ass host, new owner, new staff, new everything!

Even though it is all new, what is not new is the gameplay. We here at Flinthills UO are going back to our roots. Yes, that's correct 51a! We are going to be running a RunUO server with 51a gameplay.

We are going to add additional features from other UO expansions, however, we are going to stick to our roots and make this shard a 51a clone as best as possible.
